If you haven't heard Adele's Hello song, you might have been under a rock...or living a respectable life ignoring pop culture. Whichever the case, the song recently took the world by storm. The question is: Why is it so popular?
Here's the deal: Listening to Adele makes you feel like someone understands you. She sings about real situations and delivers them in a such a way that makes people feel it. Now, what does this have to do with humanized marketing? As a marketer, my goal is to make sure I create humanized experiences for my audience to feel too.
Adele reminds us that in order to really touch your audience, your message must be truthful and genuine. It must move people to internalize what they consume and subconsciously challenge them to apply the message to their life.If we do this, we no longer develop a sales pitch, we create an empathetic connection.
Once connections like that are made, brand loyalty is born.
